U.S. President Donald Trump announced today (Monday) that the phase of reconstructing the Gaza Strip will begin soon, emphasizing the need to expedite the Gaza agreement.
Trump told reporters, as reported by The New York Times, during his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, that his country is exerting every effort to recover the body of the last captive from Gaza, noting that the family is awaiting the return of their son home soon.
He added that he had a “very good conversation” with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier today, explaining that there are several sensitive issues on the agenda for discussion.

Trump emphasized that Hamas must completely disarm, noting that he will hold talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan about deploying Turkish forces as part of an international stabilization force in Gaza.
On the Iranian nuclear issue, the U.S. president said that Iran is seeking to rebuild its nuclear facilities, confirming that he would support a U.S. or Israeli strike on Iran if it continues to advance its nuclear program.
