The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council stressed the Sudanese state’s commitment to addressing service-related problems and the issues facing the region. He also called for greater efforts to advance the agricultural sector as a key means of achieving food security in Sudan.
Al-Burhan: There Is No Place for Agents, Traitors or Mercenaries in Sudan
Al-Burhan reiterated that there is no place for any agent, traitor or mercenary in Sudan. He noted that the country’s doors remain open to all Sudanese who seek peace, wish to return home or are willing to engage in dialogue, while firmly rejecting any external dictates.
Al-Burhan said the gathering represented a practical message of solidarity between the Sudanese people and their leadership. He affirmed that the Sudanese people alone have the right to determine their own future and choose who governs them through elections.
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council also paid tribute to the forces stationed on all fronts to defend Sudan’s sovereignty, security and stability, reaffirming the determination to eliminate the rebel militia.

Al-Burhan: Agriculture Is a Top Priority; We Are Working to Resolve Problems Facing Agricultural Projects
General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan said his visit to the area was intended to review the challenges facing agriculture in the Northern State, particularly those affecting the three agricultural projects in Al-Burayq, Karma and Al-Dafoufa.
He noted that the state gives the agricultural sector the highest priority, describing it as Sudan’s safeguard. He affirmed that work was under way to resolve all problems affecting agriculture to ensure that the winter planting season could be reached in time, particularly given the significant shortage of rainfall across Sudan.
Al-Burhan added that considerable attention would be given to agricultural projects in the White Nile and Al-Jazirah, as well as projects in the River Nile State and the Northern State, alongside the Sondos, Al-Salait and Soba projects.
He explained that these efforts aim to achieve food security and improve citizens’ livelihoods.
