Egyptian Foreign Minister Discusses Regional Developments with Yemeni Counterpart over the Phone

A phone call was held between Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, and Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, on Sunday, October 11, to discuss the latest developments in the region.
Ambassador Nader Zaki, the Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the call took place as part of ongoing consultations between the two sides on regional developments.
The conversation focused on the latest situation in Yemen and its regional implications, as well as the recent attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The two ministers condemned these attacks and expressed their full solidarity with the Kingdom, emphasizing that its security is an integral part of Arab national security.
Minister Abdelatty also reaffirmed Egypt’s steadfast position on the importance of working to preserve Yemen’s unity and sovereignty to safeguard its resources and serve the interests of the Yemeni people.
