Arab Contractors signs two MOU with DR Congo

Eng. Ahmed El Assar – Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company, and Alexis Gisaro – Minister of Urban Planning and Housing of the DR Congo, witnessed the signing ceremony of two Memoranda of Understanding between Arab Contractors Company – Sub-Saharan in the DR Congo and the Strategic Committee for Supervision of the Kinshasa City Expansion Project (CSSPEVK).
The two memoranda were signed by Eng. Hassan Hassoun – Head of Sector at Arab Contractors Company, and Mr. Terry Katimbue Mbala – Head of the Strategic Committee for Kinshasa City Expansion Project. Mr. Simon Siala Siala – Director General of the National Institute of Museums of the DR Congo, also participated in signing the memorandum for the museum project, in the presence of Eng. Abdul Rahman Abu Zeid – Director of Business Development in the Africa Sector.
The first memorandum of understanding relates to cooperation in studying, developing and implementing the “National Museum of Civilizational Renaissance” project in the Kinshasa city expansion area, which aims to create a modern cultural and civilizational monument that reflects the history and heritage of the DR Congo.
The second memorandum of understanding relates to the study and development of the urban river transport project in Kinshasa, which aims to link the existing city with the new urban expansion area, through the development of river docks and the establishment and operation of an integrated water transport system, including the ships and river vehicles necessary to serve the transport movement within the capital.
