Attijariwafa bank Egypt received two awards during Huawei Connect 2026 in Shanghai, China: The Smart Campus Global Pioneer Award and the Huawei Africa Outstanding Contribution Customer Award.
The awards were presented to Mr. Mouawia Essekelli, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Attijariwafa bank Egypt, in recognition of the bank’s collaboration with Huawei to develop a smart workplace environment, enhance operational efficiency, and advance its digital transformation journey.
During the conference, Dr. Ahmed Adel Mansour, Assistant Managing Director and Executive Board Member, presented the bank’s experience in developing a technology infrastructure that supports connectivity, security, data management, and business continuity, He also highlighted the Attijariwafa bank Egypt approach to leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance operations and support decision-making.
Mr. Walid El Watany, Assistant Managing Director, who also participated in the conference, said: “We are working to develop a workplace that combines operational efficiency, employee well-being, and the effective use of resources.
