Askari Metals Discovers Broad Critical Mineral Zone at Namibia’s Uis Project

Namibia’s strategic standing within the global critical minerals supply chain has received a substantial geological boost following a major multi-metals discovery at the Uis Polymetallic Project in the Erongo Region , Exploration developer Askari Metals Ltd announced that systematic Phase I trenching campaigns have successfully mapped an extensive, continuous zone of high-value mineralization at the K9 pegmatite target.
The findings confirm that the site possesses a continuous mineralized corridor spanning nearly 1 kilometer, effectively de-risking upcoming drilling operations and moving the asset beyond isolated pockets of ore into a scalable, high-grade commodity zone.
Analytical assays from the target area revealed rich concentrations of future-oriented resources essential for advanced electronics, battery manufacturing, and renewable energy technologies , Standout trenching results at 40-meter intervals yielded peak grades of up to 4,050 parts per million (ppm) of tin, 0.29% lithium oxide, 215 ppm of tantalum, 2,380 ppm of rubidium, and 479 ppm of caesium.
Askari Executive Director Gino D’Anna indicated that the K9 target is rapidly shaping up as a standout polymetallic discovery capable of capturing significant international investor attention, Crucially, the asset is located within the prolific Cape Cross-Uis Pegmatite Belt, positioned immediately adjacent to Andrada Mining’s active Uis Tin Mine and situated just 230 kilometers from the deep-water logistical hub at the Port of Walvis Bay.
